Hospital bulletin

I'm now out of hospital after my prostate scrape. It all went off without a hitch, apparently. No pain, just a lot of bleeding which will go on for another fortnight probably. The urologist who did the deed said that the enlarged prostate did not look cancerous, but we await pathology results. If it's not, then we can proceed with the transplant, if it is, then, in the urologist's words, 'it opens a can of worms'. Anyway, so far, so good, and it's good to be home. The hospital was not too bad, though I was very sick of my roommate having domestics with his wife, in person and on the phone, especially after 10 at night. On the plus side, the food was quite passable.

The pathology results will be delivered in about a fortnight.
